Enter a world of curiosity, choice and wonder – and discover what’s inside the Wonderbox!
In April 2025, Sensorium Theatre from Australia present a multi-sensory immersive theatre performance created with and for children and young people with specific needs, and their families and friends that invites children to roll the dice and set out along a safe, exhilarating pathway into the unknown!
Inside a giant puzzle-box of illusions, carnival friends with magic in their pockets lead audiences into a wonderland of fantastical projections, strange delights and infectious live music.
Every child’s curiosity is celebrated and rewarded with wondrous surprises. As boxes open to reveal boxes within boxes, each child is given the opportunity to find a magical version of themselves. In the Wonderbox, tiny worlds lead into huge universes – where everyone’s individual and unique face is reflected in the stars of the Milky Way!
* Multi-modal communication including key signs, natural gesture, visual symbols and minimal verbal language in English and Cantonese.
Please note:
Wonderbox is a highly visual, inclusive show with a rich aural environment and many opportunities for individual engagement and interaction through the senses. Sensorium will also adapt the work to the audience. Please fill out the form below to inform us of any specific requirements you may have when securing tickets.
